The Demarco Archive and Gallery
2012–2020
Fifth Year Architecture
The Demarco Archive and Gallery has been designed specifically for Art collector Richard Demarco as somewhere to house his vast collection of photographs and to allow him space to exhibit pieces from his art collection.

The site is situated on a busy corner that connects Melville Drive and Buccleuch Street, South-West end of the Edinburgh City Meadows. Given its dynamic location, it was the perfect opportunity to design an icon to link the dense urban landscape and the open plane of meadows.
